Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Ocala, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Relevant engineering degree with 5+ years of cable and harness manufacturing experience IAW IPC-A-620, or 10+ years experience with no degree.
- 5+ years experience working with benchtop cable and harness equipment (wire strippers, Cirris testers, automatic crimpers, etc.) including F crimp processing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for wiring harness production.
- Lead root cause investigations and develop corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to achieve on time delivery and compliance with specifications.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or automation enhancements where appropriate.
- Document and standardize work instructions, process parameters, and best practice guidelines.

- 4/10 work schedule
- 2nd Shift
- 1600-0230
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
