Chipton-Ross is seeking a Configuration Data Management (CDM) Analyst 2 for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR
  • PhD with 1+ year(s) of relevant experience.
  • Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1.
  • Candidate has an active SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 2 years, at time of application, and prior to start date OR
  • Candidate has an active DOD Top Secret security clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 2 years, at time of application, and prior to start date as well as the ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to the candidate's maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Looking for a Configuration Data Management (CDM) Analyst to support our Program & Configuration Control (PCC) department. As a member of the PCC department, you'll join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, and this position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA as a fully onsite role. Responsibilities for Configuration Data Management (CDM) Analyst:
    Identification
  • Assign and control program hardware/software data identification control numbers per program & Functional Home Room (FHR) mandates
  • Enforce & assign part & serial number requirements.
  • Change Management
  • Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities.
  • Establish agendas, publish minutes & track meeting actions.
  • Process changes packages through lifecycle include disposition & documentation/hardware implementation.
  • Perform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Mgmt. tools.
  • Configuration Status Accounting
  • Development & maintain various CDM reports for program support. Examples: Configured Item Identification List, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metrics.
  • Verification & Audits
  • Support internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media mandates.
  • Provide aid to Functional Configuration Audits & perform Physical Configuration Audit.
  • Document Management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documents.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Large-scale cross functional project team experience.
  • Experience using TeamCenter, CPLM PLM tool, and Enovia.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accredited.

    WORK HOURS:

    9/80 workweek. On-site.

    ADDITIONAL:

    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
