Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Maintenance Technician 2's for a contract opportunity in Oxnard, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Experience reading and using engineering drawings.
- Some problem solving, collaboration skills and verbal/written communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- US Citizenship is a requirement for employment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
looking for a Maintenance Technician 2 to support our facilities department. As a member of the Facilities department, you'll get to support operations in the Deployables Operating Unit. This position will serve on-site at Oxnard. Responsibilities:
- Construct thermal chamber for new program.
- Interpret engineering drawings for dimensions, positioning, etc. of thermal chamber.
- Work with cross functional team to gather information and troubleshoot as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Occasionally be on call during critical processes; e.g. startup of project.
- Experience constructing thermal chambers or other similar structures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accredited.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. On-site in Oxnard, CA.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
