Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Retail Sales Specialists (Level C) for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 2+ years of retail sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and professional attitude with commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Strong working knowledge of common business applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Quick learner with a willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will help ensure every customer interaction reflects the pride and professionalism of the Client community. By understanding the customers' needs and offering helpful product guidance, you will help create a positive in-store experience while supporting store operations and sales goals. This role plays an important part in representing the Client brand through exceptional service, product knowledge, and day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering great experiences.Duties may include (but are not limited to):
  • Accountable for all daily cash control procedures and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Receives and processes incoming and outbound merchandise shipments.
  • Maintains stock balances and monitor inventory levels.
  • Facilitate special customer orders and merchandise transfers.
  • Processes Mark Out of Stocks (MOS) and Return to Vendor (RTV) merchandise.
  • Complete inventory documentation and coordinate inter-store transfers.
  • Prepare for and support annual store inventory counts.
  • Execute floor sets and maintain merchandising standards.
  • Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure merchandise is properly stored.
  • Coordinate store maintenance needs and communicate facility issues when necessary.
  • Open and close the store following established procedures.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Support the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges according to company policy.
  • Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries via email or other communication channels.
  • Processes freight and inter-store transfers for markdowns.
  • Maintains organized stockroom and support store inventory preparation.
  • Prepare and process merchandise orders for customers.
  • Identify and report on safety and housekeeping issues.
  • Restock the store when necessary.
  • Routinely cleans store.
  • Reports all customer complaints to Store Manager.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Lift up to 35 lbs, unpacking boxes, moving boxes, opening.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

    WORK HOURS:

    FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    ADDITIONAL:

    The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.


    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
