Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technician for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Seeking candidates that have experience with engineering first drafts in an assembly setting.
Requires mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to determine when something needs to be rectified on an engineering drawing.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing of cables, prototypes, and production assemblies; repairing field and lab assets; and manufacturing initial builds working with Engineering. Candidates should be able to work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Candidate shall modify/repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawing, specifications, or engineering liaison. Candidate is responsible for performing all assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner and apprising supervision of all issues that could impact our business.REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st ShiftEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
