Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stockroom Clerk for a direct opportunity in Torrance, CA.
Client is offering salary increases twice a year. Comprehensive group health plans including medical EPO, PPO and High Deductible Health Plans with Health Savings Account, dental, vision and other supplemental plans which begin on the day you begin employment with Client. Supplemental Plans include Voluntary Life Insurance, and Pet Insurance. Client offers a competitive 401k Plan.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Ability to record inventory data using a handheld electronic device, and familiarity with computers to perform stockroom functions.
- Physically able to complete required tasks such as walking, lifting, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pack and unpack parts to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, or storage areas.
- Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in bins and relocate orders to a designated department.
- Follow instructions carefully for retrieving specific parts from the stockroom.
- Mark stock parts using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
- Basic mathematic skills include but are not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.
- Full compliance with the Company's alcohol and drug policy.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift experience is a plus
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shift
