Chipton-Ross is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a direct opportunity in Torrance, CA.



Client is offering salary increases twice a year. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5 years of demonstrated success managing large-scale corporate trade shows or experiential marketing activations in either an agency or in-house environment. Prior experience in the transportation sector and direct collaboration with convention exhibit houses is strongly preferred. Demonstrated understanding of experiential marketing frameworks that increase Share of Voice, strengthen brand positioning, and convert engagement into measurable sales results.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail across all phases of event lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and composure under tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and using data analysis to track event KPIs and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends to support on-site events.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to oversee execution and represent the client
  • Anticipated travel requirement is approximately twenty-five to thirty percent.
  • The role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged standing and walking at trade shows and events is required.
  • Ability to lift up to twenty-five pounds is necessary.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for orchestrating the annual international trade show calendar of more than twelve events, optimizing resource allocation and milestone execution. Partners with agencies to design experiential strategies that directly support Client's sales objectives and increase market share. Coordinates integrated communications by aligning pre-show, on-site, and post-show campaigns with Public Relations and Social Media teams to expand brand reach and Share of Voice.
  • Directs all experiential initiatives to ensure consistent brand messaging and cohesion across every touchpoint.
  • Oversees the curation, procurement, and logistical management of promotional collateral and brand assets to maximize brand impact.
  • Leads the full lifecycle of event execution from initial concept through teardown, with a strong emphasis on mission-critical logistics. Oversees high-value aircraft load-in and load-out operations, ensuring safe transport, positioning, and security of multimillion-dollar assets.
  • Manages all event-specific insurance requirements, liability waivers, and safety protocols in compliance with venue and aviation standards. Plans and manages staffing and registration for each event, coordinating dealers, engineering specialists, and sales support teams as needed. Serves as a primary or secondary on-site contact for exhibit companies and trade organizations, addressing and resolving structural or logistical challenges in real time.
  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators to quantify return on investment and applies post-event analytics to optimize future experiential strategies.
  • Manages comprehensive event budgets with a strong focus on cost efficiency and high-impact resource utilization.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Accredited Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
