Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler for a contract opportunity in Warner Robins, GA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 2+ years of experience in Warehousing and/or Customer Service Experience
- 2+ years of experience proficiently operating handheld barcode scanners and/or Windows tablet
- Personal Safety shoes required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Material Handler you will be responsible for ensuring the right parts are where they are needed, keeping inventory accurate, and enabling the depot to stay mission-ready.- Receive, break down, and distribute material from the Local Distribution Center.
- Sort and place material into designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL) and perform inventory using a Windows tablet.
- Research alternate locations and transfer material between BSLs to close work stoppages and empty bins.
- Identify and process Shelf Life items and Electro-static Discharge (ESD) sensitive devices.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal customers across multiple facilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Position is labor intensive, and selected candidate will be on their feet a majority of the shift.
- Certain areas in the worksite require PPE
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time-2nd Shift- 02:00pm-10:30pm
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
