Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Drafter 3's for a contract opportunity in Elkton, MD.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10-25 years min experience CAD Drafting and modeling.
• 3D Cad Modeling.
• Computer-Aided Design And Drafting (CADD).
• NX CAD.
• Siemens Teamcenter.

Looking for a Drafter 3 to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you'll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD models for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies.

Responsibilities:

Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

• Experience in the application of GD&T, and ASME standards.

High school diploma is required.

School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek. On-site. 7:30 AM - 5PM. This position will serve on-site at Elkton, MD.
