Material Handler I

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler I for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

Ability to use a scale to weigh inventory

Able to use a ladder, unassisted, as required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to stand/walk a majority of the shift

Capable of lifting 30lbs - Not often but may be required

Strong dexterity skills - Assignment requires repetitive manual counts

Clear written and spoken communication - English

Ability to perform repetitive mental tasks over long periods of time

Ability to confidently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision

At least 6 months direct cycle count experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment/logistics/stock room

Must have Accuracy and Organizational skills. Must be Detail oriented. Will be Counting parts/ pieces entire shift. Will use a latter. Lifting up to 25-30lbs Walking /standing all day.

Perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory

Notify Inventory Control staff of inconsistencies

Dependable; Diligent; Patient

Self-Starter

Team player; Gets along well with others

Detail orientated and organized

Accredited High school diploma or GED equivalent

Monday - Friday

8:00a - 4:30p
