- Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Facilities Plant Maint Specialist D's for openings in Chantilly, VA.
Monitors and operates critical infrastructure equipment within a customer's mission critical site. Shows basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and can communicate with leadership effectively. Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of complex problems in a time-sensitive environment. Is able to use a wide variety of complex test equipment. Has extensive knowledge in all aspects of repair and maintenance of plant and office facilities equipment such as electrical panels, pumps, cooling towers, HVAC, and chilled water systems. Is able to interpret complex and detailed schematics and diagrams. Provides guidance to less experienced employees. Provides technical expertise in the evaluation of products or equipment and makes recommendations. Has specialized knowledge in the use of Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) as well as all hand and power tools to repair facilities and equipment. Proficiency to learn and earn certification through power plant's in-house training program within 6 months of starting. Ability to walk, climb stairs, and stand for long periods. Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs.
Knowledge of Complex Mechanical/Electrical Concepts - Intermediate Level
Accredited High school diploma or GED and typically 7 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
FULL TIME/3RD SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
