177368 - Master Planner/Scheduler
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Master Planner / Scheduler for an opening in Reno, NV.

Master Planner/Scheduler to be responsible for overall program scope and schedule integration, including the Integrated Master Schedule/Plan (IMS/IMP) creation, baseline, and change control. The position must effectively collaborate with program management, technical, earned value, and our GSC outsourcing support team members to plan, create, monitor and analyze integrated schedules for program performance and related metrics.

Prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan/master schedule to meet all program objectives
Track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis and network logic conflicts
Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
Manage scheduling statement of work (SOW) working with associated IPT’s to ensure schedule and budget/forecast are consistent
Analyze schedule for critical path, recognizing implications of changes and assist in the development and incorporation of work-around plans into the schedule when change is required
Develop necessary reports and metrics to enable management decisions
Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential development and production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
Report on IPT cost and budgets (EVMS)

Requires a minimum of 8 years of deep, hands-on, highly relevant experience
Extensive experience in defense and aerospace program planning, financial controls, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Subject-matter expert in master scheduling technique and earned value management of development and production programs
Strong skills with Microsoft Project
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated success in Manufacturing Operations, Inventory, Shipping, Scheduling, or Production Control arenas
Experience with development and/or manufacturing programs of commercial and/or high-end business jets strongly desired
Strong customer focus with experience in a global environment working with customers and suppliers
Strong/proven problem-solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets
Very strong decision making and communication skills
Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid professional relationships with subordinates, peers, and management
Ability to drive accountability appropriately within the organization
Excellent presentation skills to supporting teams, managers, and executives

Accredited Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area, with a Master’s Degree preferred
