- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Cost Analyst for an opening in Reno, NV.
Cost & Schedule Analyst to be responsible for providing cost and schedule analysis and reporting requirements in accordance with Earned Value Management principles. The position must effectively collaborate with program management, technical leads, and our outsourced support team members to report, monitor and analyze integrated data on program performance metrics.
Provide weekly variance analyses on cost of budget versus actual costs, as well as associated schedule earnings/achievements
Effectively coordinate with all program and functional personnel to obtain the most accurate and complete data/information in a timely manner
Develop necessary reports and metrics to enable management decisions
5+ years of hands-on, highly relevant experience
Has some experience with basic accounting systems
Experience with working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
Skilled utilizing Microsoft office applications to facilitate performance reporting, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with Project and Access preferred
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to develop credibility and forge solid relationships with peers, and management
Work ethic and ethical standards that are above reproach
Superb attention to detail
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or other relevant area preferred
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
