- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Software Specialist for an opening in Alexandria, VA.
Reviews software development documentation (e.g., Requirements Documents, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams) in support of United States Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office. Reviews software test plans and verification documentation. Monitors and tracks software deficiency reports. Maintains situation awareness of software development progress by tracking development metrics.
A Specialist Ill with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and development experience with the C, C++, and Java programming languages is required. Software
development experience managing software engineering teams developing aircraft weapon system software is required. Recent experience with the Unified Modeling Language and the Agile Software Development Process in the context of DoD weapons
system software development is highly desired. Demonstrated ability to coordinate software development across multiple specialized Integrated Product Teams is desired. Experience with the use and integration of Oracle Database is desired.
Accredited Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
WORK HOURS: FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
