- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inspector for an opening in Oldsmar, FL.
Through effective communication skills and utilization of inspection tools, policies, procedures, the candidate inspects product to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards. Candidate also effectively interacts with manufacturing personnel, engineering, and management to deliver high quality product per delivery schedules.
o 5+ years experience in Cable/Wire Harness inspection to IPC/WHMA 620 standards for max pay rate (3-5 yrs mid pay rate). This must be listed on resume clearly o Experience inspecting crimp terminations and soldered connections on cable, wire harness and sub assemblies. o Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicates effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues. o Proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. o Proficient in using the Personal Computer.
o IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Specialist (CIS) o Fiber cable inspection experience
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
9/80, 2nd Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
