Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager in Aston, PA.

Plans and executes the Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving activities to support Manufacturing, Quality and General Business operations. Coordinates, tracks and maintains plant wide KPI's, Maturity Assessments, Site Risk and Hoshin Kanri initiatives. Plans, organizes, and implements internal continuous improvement and team oriented training throughout the organization. Ensures that Safran internal reporting and documentation is completed on time and per the Safran standards.

Specific Duties/Accountabilities
60%: Drives Continuous Improvement efforts for the site(s) through the implementation of Lean transformation events such as 6S Implementation, Kaizen Workshops, Value Stream Mapping, Green Belt Projects, RCCA and other business initiatives.
15%: Identifies, coordinates, and develops as necessary the internal and external Lean benchmarking and training activities for the entire facility including the management and monitoring of all site Green Belt Projects.
10%: Coordinates, schedules, and supports the tracking of KPI's, Assessments, Site Risk, Hoshin Kanri and other business initiatives.
10%: Acts in a key role for the planning, execution and sustainment of the QMS.
5%: Implements, improves and maintains other projects and programs for the facility as assigned.

I. Specialized Knowledge
Thorough understanding of LEAN principles and methodologies. Knowledge in PDCA cycle and the application of the continuous improvement strategies. Thorough understanding of problem solving methods-i.e. DAMIC, A3, 8D, root cause analysis, and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems, evaluate and complete improvements. Thorough knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Office concepts and tool sets as they relate to investigating process/product variability, and root cause and corrective action determination.
II. Experience Required
Minimum 3-5 years experience in the Process Improvement, Operations Excellence, Lean Sigma, and/or the Quality field. Demonstrated implementation of Lean Sigma principles to drive the Continuous Improvement process throughout the organization that in all areas from the design stage through actual production, installation and support of products and services.
III. Complexity of Duties
Self-directed action within the framework of applicable internal process specifications to ensure business unit maintains an acceptable level of quality in products and services. Group/Team leading in defined CI projects.
IV. Responsibility for Errors
Involves effective recommendations of organizational procedures on which top management bases important decisions that affect the external and internal quality of the organization.
V. Responsibility for Relationships With Others
Communication requiring a high degree of diplomacy and the ability to deal with and influence persons in all types of positions both internal and external, within and across all departments.
VI. Type of Supervision
Coordinates the execution of CI teams and projects.
VII. Extent of Supervision
May lead teams on an as needed basis.
Bachelor of Science Degree - Technical Degree preferred or equivalent training or professional experience such as QA Specialist, Lean / CI Specialist, Risk Specialist. Proficiency in the principles of Lean and/or Quality Assurance with demonstrated business results.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
