Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Review Engineer 5 located in Renton, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works alongside production system modeling team creating predictive software. Brings shop floor Liaison knowledge to tune model. Works as SME for design team.
Must have 737 Renton shop floor assembly experience. Will help developmental production system modeling tools predict more accurately. Will help highlight actual errors.
Must bring SME level connections and knowledge.

This is a very exciting project which allows the building of new skills while applying key Liaison skills. Support high visibility developmental programs which are helping the shop floor. Direct teams focused on improving factory.

Applies advanced knowledge of Client design and/or engineering principles. Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions. Directs cross-functional teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances. Leads investigations into complex multidiscipline system related events. Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations Assesses complex system events reports to determine potential safety issues. Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues. Develops and implements product/process improvements. Leads development of interim and final solutions. Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT). Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment. Oversees documentation of hardware problems. Identifies the need for technical training. Leads activities for on on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support team. Reviews and approves design and operational concepts for new designs. Designs complex jacking and shoring schemes. Leads the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis. Develops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years' experience, Master's degreee with 8 or more years' experience or PhD with 7 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
