Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer 3 for an opening in Orlando, FL.
Quality Engineer responsible for supplier FAI (First Article Inspection) review and disposition with input of product status to the Client-P2P/SAP ERP system.
Tasks will be to clear FAI backlog at the Orlando campus with pending or suspended dispositions. Other responsibilities will include the evaluation of MMR (Material Mater Records) Text Keys based on design documents. Should have a working knowledge of the general and specific text keys used in P2P/SAP.
Acceptable candidates will have experience in product inspection method/processes across multiple commodity types from mechanical to electrical. Excellent communication skills both written and oral for reporting as required. Experience in the use of Client-P2P/SAP ERP System with experience with Mech/Electrical inspection methods. Technical requirements interpretation and validation. The ability to make product disposition after review of technical specifications and guidance and to work independently with minimal directions or guidance.
Documentation of FAIs in accordance with AS9102. Processing of MMRs based on design documents. Be efficient using computer systems and web portals. Efficient in the use of Client-P2P/SAP ERP System.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
9/80, 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
