Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician 2 for an opening in Santa Barbara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility. These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Integrated Circuit Layout Technician.
Significant experience with physical layout of mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level designs is required. The selected candidate will perform silicon layout of analog and digital submicron transistor level designs in support of advanced infrared cameras and imagers. Designs include ultralow noise analog circuit blocks, low power analog to digital conversion, high speed multi GHz data transmission and serializers. MUST HAVE CMOS integrated circuit layout experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Schematic capture, design verification and simulation.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
