- Chipton-Ross is seeking Senior Pricing Analysta for an opportunity in Columbia, MD
Responsible for pricing of goods and services in order to stay competitive in the market. Conducts market research and makes recommendations regarding pricing policies. Maintains historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager.
Leads and/ or manages major and complex cost proposals generally valued between $50M - $100M.
Applies a broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques for a variety of the most complex financial and general business problems.
Develops complex pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses.
Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission.
Prepares special reports and analysis as required.
Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of direct government pricing practices, regulations and procedures. Advanced business knowledge. Comprehensive organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations. Ability to work in a team environment.
Accredited MBA and 6 years related experience with 4 years of direct government pricing experience or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and 8 years related experience with 4 years of direct government pricing experience. MBA preferred. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
