Chipton-Ross is seeking a Programmer / Machinist Mazak Integrex 3 for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.
Mechanical Technician 3 / Machinist. Mazak INTEGREX 200SY & MAZAK I300.
Must be capable of manufacturing very complex close tolerance machined hardware in a variety of materials, from Titanium, Invar, Kovar, Inconel, Macor, Fiberglass Epoxy, Aluminum etc.
Must be able to program, set up and run MAZAK INTEGREX 200SY with Mazak control and/or Mastercam V9.
Must have 10 years relevant experience.
Experience with Programming in MasterCam version 9 or higher, creating geometry or using Solid Models, IGES, STEP, DXF files, and 3 dimensional advanced programming techniques is a must.
The applicant should also be well versed in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance per ANSI 14.5M 1982/1994 specifications to interpret true position and tolerance requirements.
Must be capable of using Mazak CNC Lathes including MAZAK INTEGREX 200SY & Mazak I300 machines and inspection tools to manufacture hardware with little or no direct supervision.
High school degree/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 workweek. Must be flexible for 1st or 2nd shift IF needed.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
