Chipton-Ross is seeking a QA Inspector for an opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects, audits and reports on materials, processes and products used in the construction of aircraft interiors and parts using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. This job reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager.
" Performs inspections of:
o FAI (first article inspection) of newly designed or revised products.
o Incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order.
o In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.
o Sub-assemblies used in the construction of aircraft interiors.
o Final products prior to shipment.
" Interprets and reads engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
" General Notes:
o Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure integrity and quality are not compromised by handling.
o All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of Zodiac products.
o As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
o Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
" 0-3 years of experience within a quality environment.
" Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
" No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 miles of La Palma) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
" Associate degree or related certification preferred.
" Previous experience in Aerospace Manufacturing preferred.
Position Criteria:
" Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical literature.
" Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
" Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
" The ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
" Ability to work in a team environment; amicable.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
