Chipton-Ross is seeking a Pricing Lead for an opening in Northampton, MA.

As Pricing Lead you will provide senior pricing leadership in order to allow the organization to make effective decisions with regard to bid and proposal efforts. You will be responsible for providing support to ensure cost and price reviews are performed in accordance with Client policies to ensure that fully complaint proposals are submitted to the customer.
•Develop detailed, accurate manufacturing and material cost estimates. Complete pricing of a bill of material.
•Support proposal team with creation of WBS structure that supports customer pricing and internal costing requirements.
•Ability to read and understand complex RFP’s to ensure all pricing actions are addressed and all FAR requirements are achieved.
•Lead and support internal Cost Reviews and Price Reviews thru senior staff.
•Responsible for preparation and presentation of financial section of corporate proposal deck slide.
•Provide financial support to DCMA/DCAA audits.
•Support negotiating team thru final contract acceptance. Update pricing based on latest cost information, scope changes and rates. Perform ROS analysis.
•Ability to use Pro-Pricer costing tool to prepare cost reporting required for internal analysis and customer cost volume submittal. Support proposal teams with the usage of Pro-Bidder.
•Drive improvement efforts to the cost estimating system.
•Review and approve RFQs to appropriate signature level.
•Develop Performance Based Payment (PMB) plans for proposals (when required) to drive favorable cash position.

•Must have 5-7 years of experience working with The Department of Defense
•Must have 8 - 12 years in pricing or financial control within a manufacturing environment
•Must be able to handle confidential planning data and sensitive financial data of employees, consultants and marketing representatives with discretion
•Experience with cost estimating, cost variance reporting, direct and overhead rate structures
•Experience in working with FAR & CAS
•Must be results oriented, possess a sense of urgency and put quality first
•Must use management by fact, understand risk management and be able to work well in within a team
•Prior Managerial experience would be a plus
•This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.

Accredited Bachelor Degree in Finance, Cost Accounting or Business Management

9/80, 1st Shift
