Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 for an opportunity in Warner Robins, GA.
Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, such as:
Determining the location and density of circuitry.
Evaluating electromagnetic radiation.
Isolating malfunctions to component level.
Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as:
Making circuit analyses.
Calculating wave forms.
Tracing relationships in signal flow.
Uses complex test instruments such as:
High frequency pulse generators.
Complex computer control equipment.
Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices.
May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Must have an Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 8 years of electronics / electrical repair experience to component level (I-Level, Back Shop, etc.).
Work experience in manufacturing automated test equipment.
An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.
Must have an Associate's degree OR appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) IS required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 workweek. Must be able to work 2nd shift: M-TH from 3:00p-12:30a / 1st F - 3:00p-11:30p / 2nd F - OFF.
