Chipton-Ross is seeking a Human Factors Engineer for an opening in King of Prussia, PA.

As a Human Factors Engineer, you will work on internal IT Applications that are based on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. Candidates must be familiar with human-automation interaction/human machine teaming and have experience performing user-centered design activities including task analysis, use case analysis, persona development, user interface design, wireframing, prototyping with SAP Build, and recruiting/planning/conducting rapid iterative usability studies. The successful candidate must be able to talk through their work history in this area and provide work samples to be considered for this position.

This job will involve conducting quantitative and qualitative user research including contextual inquiry, user interviews, cognitive walkthroughs, heuristic evaluations, surveys, usability tests, as well as analyzing and presenting findings/recommendations to internal customers and technical teams.

Candidates must have experience working on multidisciplinary teams, applying user-centered design in an Agile environment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated experience with the systems engineering life cycle, human systems integration processes, and human-automation interaction/human machine teaming body of research.

Accredited Masters Degree in Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
