Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Assistant for an opportunity in San Diego, CA.

The Facilities Helper will work closely with and under the direction of Facilities Project Managers and Coordinators to execute all manner of Facilities requests.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist the Facilities Manager in all aspects of project implementation as needed.
Move employees and their belongings between offices/buildings/campuses.
Assemble and configure ergonomic equipment such as chairs and sit/stand desks.
Assemble, build, move, and reconfigure modular office furniture, as well as standard tables, desks, chairs, etc.
Mount white boards, projectors, TV's, tack boards, posters, murals, screens, etc.
Run misc. low voltage AV/data cabling overhead and in wall.
Support special events including moving/setting up furniture, signage, AV, scheduling, coordination, etc.
Check AED, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, fire risers, etc. on a monthly basis.
Escort all types of contractors performing inspections, construction, etc.
Help with delivering packages and mail on an as needed basis.
Coordinate work and access with impacted employees and other support functions to ensure that Facilities work does not impact site operations and can be performed successfully and on schedule.
Coordinate, schedule, and direct various types of contractors performing inspections, data/electrical installations, and other types of repairs.
Work closely with Security and IT personnel to coordinate work, gather requirements, and support projects.
Assist site planner with ensuring occupancy data is correct through walk-throughs and building audits.
Perform other duties as required.

Must have relevant experience.

High School degree/GED.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
