Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Engineering & Technology organization is a highly dynamic and growing organization that plays a vital role in providing mission-critical intelligence solutions by optimizing satellite constellations, processing data through its entire life cycle and developing reliable cutting-edge infrastructure for information dissemination across a global network and to a variety of programs. You'll have an opportunity to work on world-class programs such as Orion, SBIRS, GPS-III, Commercial Vehicles, Deep Space Exploration, Classified Special Programs. Within these Programs, you will participate in the design, development, verification and deployment of complex new software. You will utilize your previous software experience, and/or skills, to develop and maintain software using the following languages and technologies; C++, Java, Python, Big Data, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Embedded systems Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience. TS/SCI Clearance with Poly required prior to starting. Client seeks a Software Engineer who will participate in the following for a SPP Program who will participate in design engineering, integration, and test lifecycle of the software deliverable. The candidate will be responsible for software development, unit test, integration and software test and supporting the software test team to ensure adherence to software requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Previous C++ or Python experience o Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills o Excellent team orientation
Skills Preferred:o Hardware - Troubleshooting hardware problems o Previous real-time and embedded software development experience o Agile processes o Full development lifecycle experience o Ability to perform software integration and test development o Ability to work with multiple programming languages, operating systems, and development environments. o Understanding of missile or satellite software systems o Systems Programming - RHEL, UNIX/Linux, o Continuous Integration: Git, Subversion, Redmine

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
Equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
