Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accountant 3 for an opening in Long Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements, maintains and documents effective internal controls and processes. Identifies and resolves accounting system issues and identifies process improvements. Develops new accounting systems and tools. Analyzes, interprets, prepares and reconciles financial information. Prepares standard and ad hoc internal and external financial reports for management. Reviews and analyzes relevant contract terms, conditions and accounting source document. Reviews, analyzes and interprets company directives, policies and regulatory requirements. Establishes, monitors, maintains and reviews internal control systems and documentation for compliance.
- Prepares and reconciles financial information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures. Provides effective internal controls. Identifies and resolves accounting system issues. Supports the development and deployment of new accounting systems and tools. Reviews and analyzes relevant contract terms, conditions and accounting source documents. Prepares internal and external financial reports. Reviews and interprets company directives and policies to guide overall accounting policies and practices.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
