Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Product Repair/Mod Tech C's for openings in New Orleans, LA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Removes, installs, modifies, repairs, adjusts and tests electrical and avionics systems and components according to drawings, engineering data, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. Performs maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, avionics, weapons and aircraft survivability systems as required. Cleans, preserves and stores electrical/electronic components and aircraft instruments. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance as required.
Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing schematics, engineering data or similar documents. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience performing aircraft modifications and upgrades.

EDUCATION:
Accredited high school diploma or GED and minimum 5 years’ experience (equivalent combination of required education and electrical experience in a modification environment).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
