Chipton-Ross is seeking an Auditor for an opening in Peachtree City, GA.
Prepares and examines financial records. Ensures that financial records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time. Assesses financial operations and work to help ensure that organizations run efficiently.
Examine financial statements to be sure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations; Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time; Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures; Organize and maintain financial records; Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management; Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.
3-6 years experience
Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills
Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers
Solves a range of straightforward problems
Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, CPA preferred.
Monday - friday 8-430
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
