Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Principal Data Management Analyst for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with integrated product teams, business analysts and software developers on project teams as they document their data requirements and establish thorough specifications. Conducts facilitation sessions to gather requirements.
o Uses SharePoint 2013 to build OOTB sites and workflows. Supports existing SharePoint 2013 applications.
o Trains user community on benefits of proper use of SharePoint technologies versus network shares.
o Interfaces with server admins to enforce IT policies and evaluate user requests for features and enhancements.
o Reviews and reports on project metrics to benchmark effectiveness.
o Works closely with all stakeholders to ensure that business models are accurately implemented in application systems. Provides education on the naming and modeling standards; assists with modeling specific constructs. Reviews project models to ensure adherence to standards. Ensures data quality alignment.
o Works on and across multiple projects to ensure consistency in naming conventions and promotes the sharing and reuse of data across applications and business areas. Ensures that data analysis goals are met.
o Contributes to data management internal projects as well as the upgrading of standards and best practice guidelines.
o Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
o Manages all aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between various stakeholders.
o Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
o Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Individual will be responsible for managing large and small scale projects for programs and functional homeroom.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 1 - 5 years' experience building and managing SharePoint sites and SharePoint custom workflows.
Strong project management skills.
Analyze and convey cost, schedule and technical performance to IPT leads, Program Managers, engineering or business team members.
Export data from various data sources, integrate, analyze and report results.
Forecast, plan and secure resource requirements.
Identify process improvement, risks and opportunities.
Facilitate or lead technical and/or business team members to solve complex problems, recommend and implement solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer expertise in SharePoint workflows with extensive experience in building team sites, publishing sites, project schedules.
Experience with JavaScript/jQuery, Tableau, Nintex/K2, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek
