Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Technician for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides corrective and preventive maintenance of the building and equipment to assure continued
operations and extend the useful life of Client assets.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with

Repairs equipment and/or building systems to assure continued operations.
Performs scheduled maintenance and inspection of equipment to avoid unscheduled downtime
and/or failure and to extend the useful life of equipment.
Applies industry-standard work practices to eliminate errors and waste.
Selects procedures from several options and, with approval of supervisor, acts upon them, requests
expenditures. Errors may lead to high risk of major damage to the organization resulting in the need
to repeat most or all of the work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months of related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
Mechanical/technical/interpersonal skills must be adapted to the unique requirements of the
organization.

by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical
parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious
places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the
work environment is usually moderate.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
M-F 7am - 3:30pm
Full-Time


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
