Chipton-Ross is seeking a Certification Records Administrator for an opening in Phoenix, AZ.

This position is responsible for managing records and data associated with obtaining regulatory approvals for Client products and aircraft installations. The primary responsibility will be accomplishing the records management required of Client by the FAA for aircraft installation, design and certification activities. The data and records associated with the FAA approvals for Client products will also be a part of the duties. Supporting the generation and revisions of procedures associated with these two certification areas will also be duties performed by the candidate. The majority of the records will be electronic but some hardcopy records will also require management.
Working with the certification engineers the candidate will be responsible for supporting and creating certification data, documentation and procedures, coordinating submittals and receipts with the regulatory agencies, and posting and archiving the data and records as required by the defined procedures. This will require processing data through the Client data management systems and managing data on various internal websites and network share drives

The candidate must have An Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience, and be very proficient with the Microsoft Windows environment, especially the MSOffice products Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer. Three to five years prior experience working with documents and data management is required. Proficiency with the Microsoft SharePoint tool is highly preferred. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and the IBM Teamcenter data management system is desired. The candidate must be very detail oriented and capable of accomplishing tasks with a very high degree of quality. The candidate must also be able to work effectively in a team environment with other functional areas across the entire company.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
