- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for an opportunity in Cypress, CA.
Assembles and supervises the assembly of aircraft interior structures, sub-assemblies and/or parts, such as bins, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, cargo liners, etc., for the completion of aircraft interior structures and/or parts using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications. Leads the assembly of aircraft interior structures and parts in coordination with the production schedule and Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager. Adheres to company and customer specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders. Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability. Requires significant experience within discipline and thorough working knowledge of subject matter. Handles complex issues, escalates only the most complex issues to higher level staff. Performs work under limited supervision and directly oversees employees within the work area.
1+ years of manufacturing experience, as an Assembler (Final Assembly preferred
Familiar with computer programs (email, Word, etc.) and ERP systems (M3) is an asset.
The ability to read and write English at a comprehensive level is necessary for successful job performance. Good hand/eye coordination a must
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
