Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 (iDS) for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.

This position will support various projects including: SWIMMS application, SAP S/4 upgrade and SAP PEO.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The primary work site location will be B888 (Brooks Crossing) - parking available.
Meetings will take place in the yard but NNS taxi service would be available.
Steel toes, hard hat, and safety glasses will be needed.

Must have 5 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; or 0 Years with PhD.
Candidates submitted to this requisition should have the following prior experience: Gather business requirements, Create test cases, Conduct System Integration Testing and support User Acceptance Testing, and Work with the Product Owners and Scrum Master to prioritize work for the team.

Bachelors in Science, Masters or PhD is required.
School must be accredited.

Monday - Friday 7:30am- 4:00pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
