Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a CNC NX Programmer for an opening in Hawthorne, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use of CAD/CAM software to program multi-axis mill-turn machines
Use of 3rd party verification software to validate NC files generated before releasing to shop floor
Maintaining revision control on programs and setup sheets
Select optimal tooling & cutting speeds / feeds aerospace materials such as: Aluminum / Copper / Stainless Steels / Titanium / Inconel
Design work holding for production processes
Makes or offer suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability
Meets expectations for productivity and production goals
Constantly keep products moving and alerting management when production is inhibited
Provides consistent ideas for process improvements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3 years of CNC programming experience using NX CAM software
Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
Must be available for overtime and weekend hours

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
10 years of CNC programming experience using NX CAM software
Experience with multi axis mill and lathe CNC machines

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
