Chipton-Ross is seeking an Application Developer for an opportunity in Raleigh, NC.
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Application Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Raleigh, NC. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities. This position is part of the Northrop Grumman's ETS Contract with the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Develop software and processes to monitor and manage 46,000+ USPS Point of Service systems at 18,000+ sites nationwide.
Develop software and processes to monitor and manage.
The selected individual will work independently with minimal supervision or as a part of a team.
May be required to create time sensitive deliverables.
Must be available for on-call or non-standard hours.
Bachelor's degree in a business, computer science, information systems or related field and minimum 9 years' relevant experience.
Agile development experience.
Development experience in the following areas: HTML 4/5, CSS 3.0 or higher, and C# or C++.
Knowledge of MS Windows server and desktop operating systems, especially Windows 10 and Windows 10 hardening settings.
Knowledge of local and wide area networks including LAN/WAN protocols and LAN/WAN management.
Understanding of Windows user context and Windows built in accounts access rights.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain IT documentation.
Experience writing documentation including test plans.
Applicable certification and training.
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Development experience in the following areas: Apache, IIS Web Server, ASP.net or .NET, Oracle / PL SQL, Oracle Wallet, REST, and SOAP.
Experience developing desktop applications in one or more of the following: Java J2EE, Micro strategy, OSD.net, PowerShell 5.0 or higher, and SCCM.
Bachelor's degree in a business, computer science, information systems or related field is required.
Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
5/40 workweek. Must be available for on-call or non-standard hours.
