Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Label Room Technician for an opening in Fair Lawn, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary focus on Label printing for the FL and BW site needs. Support and guidance to Value Stream support staff on label printing issues. Document current production tasks into standard work/SOPs and provide continuous feedback to team members on adherence to updated procedures. Have knowledge of DOT shipping/labeling regulations and requirement. Ensure all labels for manufacturing orders based on provided priorities in accordance with required animal origin, material segregation regulatory requirements and local printing SOPs. Demonstrate strong business acumen, organizational and analytical skills with baseline working knowledge of other business functions (Materials, Financial, Sales, Engineering and Human Resources) in addition to Manufacturing and Quality. Monitor and ensure compliance with ISO/GMP/FDA requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledgeable with regulatory material handling requirements (FDA, ISO, cGMP). Highly motivated and energetic in daily work, problem solving, and continuous improvement. Strong people, document writing and verbal/written communication skills. Lean manufacturing experience, preferable. Knowledge of MS Office including Microsoft Word and Excel plus Label Printing Software.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment with 1-3 years manufacturing experience.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
