- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Logistics Clerk for an opportunity in Torrance, CA
Coordinates the daily logistic operations, including inventory control. Organize warehousing for goods. Reviews inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied. Ensures on-time delivery of goods to customers, to include investigating and resolving issues.
Coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts and assemblies
Receive material against receiving documents
Issue material as requested and document traceability characteristics
Ability to maintain records of Government and Engineering Property
Ability to collect data and create metrics
Experienced in creating Excel based reports
Ability to process Cost and No Cost Transfers
Ability to plan and coordinate Physical inventories
Knowledge and understanding of Configuration of Bill of Material (BOM) preferred
Coordinate with Management on special projects and other assignments
Ability to support internal and external customers i.e., Audits, customer information requests, fact findings, etc.
Ability to manage Shelf Life material
Knowledge of handling Electrical Sensitive and/or Moisture sensitive material.
Experience with SAP preferred
Ability to provide training to entry level employees
Excellent Communication skills
Strong computer skills with Microsoft office, to include Excel and other applications.
Specialized Support: Typically 5- 7 years experience
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
