Chipton-Ross is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for an opening in Mojave, CA.

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for engaging in direct and indirect recruiting strategies to increase company exposure, branding, and reputation. In addition, we need you to conduct deep internet mining for passive candidates and make sound judgments on talent and exercise discretion in making independent decisions. As our Technical Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, qualifying, interviewing, and presenting candidates to hiring managers. You will also be responsible for recruiting at all levels of talent spanning multiple skills, with strong focus on professional and exempt level positions. You will work independently on multiple projects with a strong ability to effectively prioritize and produce results within set timelines.
" Source amazingly talented candidates: Aggressively recruits talented applicants from a variety of sources, including cold calling, sourcing on various job boards and with user groups, networking, electronic advertising and communicating with universities and student groups. When the initial desired profile of the ideal applicant does not generate successful results, immediately takes initiative to review and if necessary revise recruitment strategy with hiring manager.
" Identify "the real deal" - specific recruitment needs: Builds strong relationships with hiring managers in order to fully understand job requirements and team dynamics. Determine sourcing strategies for each position with hiring manager which may include trade associations, target industry/companies and key words/phrases for resume database searches. Draft requisitions and job postings that are written to attract applicants and provide a positive impression of the brand.
" Interview and present applicants: Drives and manages applicant flow for assigned requisitions. Conducts in-depth telephone assessment of applicants through comprehensive behavioral interviewing and work history reviews. Manages the coordination of interviews. Stays in contract with applicant through the entire interview process to insure a positive experience. Provides timely feedback to unqualified applicants.
" Hire the best: Coach Candidates and managers in their assessment and drive decision making in a collaborative, consultative approach. Ensure that the candidate will be compatible with our dynamic, fast paced, start-up environment and can connect with the Client Way!
" Staffing Strategy: Identifies, initiates and/or participates in various efforts to continuously improve the staffing life cycle. Ensures time to fill for each position is met to company's satisfaction and candidate experience is exceptional.

" A minimum of 5 years of heavy recruiting experience, ideally in aerospace with a focus on engineering positions, a start-up organization or a highly unique cultural environment.
" Possess an established track record of developing strong relationships with potential employees.
" Able to accurately vet technical resumes and conduct in depth technical interviews.
" Experience at providing consultative recommendations and influencing hiring teams.
" Fearless networker and cold caller with an understanding of how to build and track candidates.
" Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and effective communication in formal and informal settings with senior executives, peers and candidates.
" Excellent negotiator with a confidence-inspiring manner, and a keen sense of determination and urgency.
" Have a strong customer focus when dealing with both hiring managers and candidates.
" Must be able to identify and effectively "sell" the company's value proposition to candidates.
" Must have strong computer skills using MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Accredited Bachelor's in Human Resources Management, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration or other related field is strongly preferred.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
