Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires an Airframe Stress Analyst to use their technical expertise to analyze aircraft structure and subsystems installations. The candidate will apply his or her understanding of the technical principles of structural analysis toward the solution of technical problems. The candidate will be responsible for preliminary and detailed analysis of aircraft structures, structural assemblies, participation in trade studies and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
The candidate will have thorough knowledge in the field of aircraft structural analysis and will have a broad knowledge of all related disciplines.
14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Experience conducting high temperature analysis on airframe primary structure. Familiarity with high temperature material and joint applications (high thermal gradients, CTE material mismatch and thermal stresses @ 1,200F+)

EDUCATION:
Accredited Masters Degree in related field

MISCELLANEOUS:

Full-Time, 9/80-A

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
