- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Engineer for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.
Experience with avionic subsystems
F-35 factory or fleet/field experience
Previous experience with subcontractor technical management.
Electronic subsystems troubleshooting experience
Specific knowledge and hands on experience with CNI, Radar, EW, or ICP subsystems.
Knowledge of CNI functions (voice radios, data links, Link 16, TACAN, IFF, crypto).
F-35 program, PHM and Sustainment experience.
Electronic/optical device level knowledge
Ability to work across multiple internal and external customers/organizations to resolve technical and production issues.
Current F-35 program experience and clearances.
Accredited BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
