- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical/Electronic Assembler for an opening in Alpharetta, GA.
Diverse, team based production area, utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles. Candidate will do assemble electronic subassemblies and final assemblies, using both written and paperless work instructions. Rework on electronic assembly and circuit card assembly; Candidate is expected to perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs. Candidate will work in in an environment where typical chemicals that are found in an electronics production environment are utilized. Candidate will be required to pass IPC A610 and JSTD 001 solder and rework certification tests.
A minimum of 2yrs experience that includes the following:Industry standard solder skills; reading and understanding Engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions; assembling mechanical and electronic assemblies; read and understand Engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions
Awareness of aviation products and specifications
conathane, pro-seal, end item assembly, and burn in processes
Current Certification to IPC A610 and JSTD 001
Microscope assembly work, X-RAY and Air VAC Rework stations
Lean or demand flow manufacturing practices
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
