- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electro Mechanical Assembly Technician for an opening in South San Francisco, CA.
This individual will be part of a larger team of R&D engineers working to assemble, test and troubleshoot complex prototype laboratory instrumentation.
Inspect and qualify parts and sub-assemblies. Organize part and sub-assembly stock. Assemble complex electro-mechanical subassemblies and top-level instruments. Troubleshoot and resolve problems during assembly and testing. Develop assembly work instructions.
Experience assembling complex electromechanical assemblies (medical/biotechnology equipment experience preferred). Proficiency in soldering, crimping and cable harness assembly. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to read and interpret 2D part and assembly drawings. Strong troubleshooting skills. PCBA rework experience preferred.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
