Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate for this position will be working in the Technical Support Center (TSC), providing coverage to field issues by acting as a point of contact at LM Aero for support of an operational system. Duties include coordinating the resources required for immediate response to field issues, accidents, emergencies, and incidents, directing those activities required to respond to inquiries from the Customer regarding Engineering and Logistic issues. Providing LM Aero and Customer management with written and/or technical status of ongoing activities relative to the solution of critical field problems. Serve as the liaison between the O&M Team and the Hardware/Software Engineering Support Team, and oversee the preparation and submittal of written responses to the issue.

In addition to serving as a point of contact for issues, this individual will provide support to the Deficiency Report (DR) Administrator. Duties will include completing actions necessary for screening/action/support and administration functions. Coordinate with the customer in disposition and control of DR exhibit(s) throughout the lifespan of the Deficiency Report and provide assistance as necessary to support local DR process. Ensure customer service and time objectives are tracked, reported, and achieved. Coordinate interfaces, status and tracking and analysis/investigation requirements for DRs with Support Engineering Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).

Periodic travel is required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with operators and maintainers.

Ability to work effectively within an IPT environment, developing and presenting technical information to multiple levels of management and customers.

Experience working with and interpreting engineering data, technical publications, and customer documentation.

Desired skills

Experience in working Support Center type activities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Technical degree and/or equivalent experience working in an operational environment.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Full-Time, 9/80-A

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
