- Chipton-Ross is seeking a System Engineer for an opportunity in Marietta, GA
o Review Supplier SDRLs 033 and 035 for technical content and to determine if additional actions need to be taken to prevent a parts
o Work with suppliers to discuss resolution options, request formal supplier notifications, determine DMS effectivity, request LTB quotes, determine last time buy (LTB) LRU PO cut in, resolve inventory pricing and usage, etc
o Work with components engineering to help identify possible alternate components and verify parts obsolescence
o Work with engineering for Class II determination
o Provide status updates to USG
o Provide inventory reports on USG owned components
o Work with sustainment and program management to determine accurate parts usage forecast for a LTB
o Create CBA’s to take to cost council to request FEAs
o Verify components are added to material masters in SAP and properly linked as subrequirements to higher level assemblies (LRUs)
o Monitor the actuals remaining on FEA and ensure proper liquidation
•Understanding of the DMS process
•Systems engineering background; ability to effectively manage the full development life cycle
•Experience briefing executive leadership
• Experience working parts obsolescence projects
• Experience with liquidating FEAs
• Experience with analyzing parts in SAP
• Experience coordinating with Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• SAP Experience
• Experience with EDSC
• Supplier part management
Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or technically related discipline.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
