Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an opportunity in Midwest City, OK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be in support of multiple instrumentation, avionics and analysis programs supporting our DoD customers. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.The candidate must have good oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Basic knowledge of military and commercial avionics standards (such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1553, DO-254, DO-160, DO-178, 14 CFR part 23, 25, 27, 29, 33, 125) is desired. Experience with these systems would be a plus: Attack Control, Automatic Flight Control, Communication, NVIS/FLIR, and Electronic Warfare. Experience with reliability, maintainability, and supportability problems due to aging and obsolete components is a bonus.
EDUCATION:
Accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
