- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for an opening in Sabre Springs, CA.
Provides general support to the AP department
Responsible for validation and input of vendor invoices into the accounting system.
Verifies accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
Assists with semi-weekly disbursement process
Updates and maintains records detailing financial business transactions for accounts payable and disbursements.
Responds to written or verbal inquiries from company employees or vendors.
Maintains general accounting files and records.
Contacts are typically with individuals within own company as well as company vendors.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Some knowledge of computer operations and applications and proficiency with Excel spreadsheets is desirable.
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of problems.
Must have good communication, computer, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with SAP desirable.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED and two or more years of progressive experience in an accounting department or a related field. May substitute additional experience in lieu of education.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
