Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opening in Newport News, VA.
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Must have 2 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters.
Technical writing is preferred.
o Proficient with technical letter research, review, and excellent writing skills
o Familiar with Mil Specs, Ship Specs and commercial requirements for electrical equipment and how to apply them
o Electrical drawing development and reviews (includes cable sizing requirements, breaker settings, protection coordination)
o Proficient and familiar with electrical safety, electrical testing equipment, electrical equipment assembly, and troubleshooting skills
Bachelors in Science or Masters is required.
