Chipton-Ross is seeking an Application Developer / Analyst for an opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA.
Design, develop, code, test, document and implement new applications as necessary, modify existing web applications, and maintain and support the current web environment.
Meet with end users to gather project requirements.
Day to day support for LDWF web based systems.
Day to day support of SQL databases, including database migrations, upgrades, design, and creation.
Transform separate data sources such as spreadsheets and paper documents to constraint based common database structures.
Develop workflow approval processes to assist in transforming paper processes to electronic processes.
Provide technical knowledge transfer, training and documentation to OTS staff for all work.
Provide user training and manuals.
Must have experience with Microsoft .NET with C#.
Must have experience with Microsoft IIS 7.5 and higher.
Must have experience with MVC (Model View Controller).
Must have experience with Web Services/Methods (XML, JSON, SOAP).
Must have experience with Microsoft SQL 2012 and higher.
Must have experience with SQL SSRS/SSIS (Reporting Services/Information Services).
Must have working knowledge of accounting principles.
Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau.
High School degree/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
